A short walkthrough of the storefront and admin, built from real screenshots.
What syncs with QuickBooks Online
The connector moves accounting data between Magento and QuickBooks Online. Customers and products export from Magento and also have a separate import. Inventory can export, import, or both. Orders, payments, refunds, and credit memos export from Magento only.
Customers
Export Magento customers to QuickBooks Online. Import QuickBooks customers into Magento as a separate import.
Products
Export catalog items to QuickBooks Online, and import products with a separate import. Simple, virtual, and downloadable products export as items. Configurable products export as separate items, not as QuickBooks group items. Bundle and grouped products are skipped or flattened. They are not synced as one composite item.
Inventory
Inventory can export from Magento, import from QuickBooks Online, or both.
Orders, payments, refunds, and credit memos
These export from Magento to QuickBooks Online only. They are not imported back into Magento.
How the Magento 2 QuickBooks Integration Works
Intuit OAuth, sandbox or production
Authorize QuickBooks Online with Intuit OAuth. Choose the sandbox or production environment.
Choose entities and schedule
Choose which entities sync and when the schedule runs. On an inbound customer or product import, the conflict policy is Skip If Exists or QuickBooks Wins.
Queues, cron, logs, retry, and CLI
Sync jobs run through a queue and Magento cron. Operation logs record the result, failed jobs can be retried, and CLI commands enqueue work and check status.
