Storefront WebP Delivery for Magento Catalog Images
SEO WebP Image Optimizer delivers WebP for Magento catalog product cache images on the storefront, and includes an admin bulk converter for CMS, WYSIWYG, and logo media. When Magento writes resized product images under pub/media/catalog/product/cache, the module also writes a sibling .webp. Listing pages use <picture> markup with JPEG or PNG fallback; Hyvä PDP galleries keep the original thumb/img/full URLs and add parallel *_webp keys.
Existing catalog JPEG and PNG cache files are not converted the moment you enable the module. Run bin/magento catalog:images:resize (or re-save products) so Magento regenerates cache images and this module writes the sibling WebP files. Until that runs, the storefront keeps serving original formats.

Admin Bulk Convert for CMS Media with Dry Run & Archive
Catalog product images on the storefront use cache siblings and picture markup. The admin optimizer is for CMS, WYSIWYG, logo, and other media-library paths outside that cache: pick a pub/media subpath, convert JPG/PNG to sibling .webp files, and optionally zip the originals first. Originals are never deleted.
Dry run mode scans the target path and reports how many files would convert — without writing WebP files or archives. Archive originals as zip copies source files into a timestamped archive under var/toweringmedia/seo-images-webp before bulk WebP writes. Configure under Stores → Configuration → Toweringmedia → SEO Images WebP; open the optimizer from Intelligence SEO Suite → WebP Optimizer.
