Where do I enable a category hero?
Open Catalog → Categories, edit a category, expand Category Hero, enable the hero, upload the hero image, optionally set text alignment, and save. The category name and description are used as overlay fallbacks when custom hero title/description fields are empty.
Does it need Page Builder or a slider extension?
No. It adds Magento category attributes and a frontend hero block. There is no Stores → Configuration section and no JavaScript slider library.
Is there a separate mobile hero image field?
No. The module provides a single hero image per category (store-view scoped). Responsive CSS scales that image; there is no separate mobile-image uploader.
