Magento does not natively calculate accurate rates across multiple vendor origins in one checkout total. Multi Vendor Dropship groups cart items by vendor origin and combines rates into Unified Multi-Vendor Ground Shipping—or optional per-vendor selection.

Set Up Vendors
Create vendors under Toweringmedia → Vendors with origin address, carrier (Flat Rate, F.O.B Quote, or an API carrier when its add-on is installed), allowed methods, handling fee, and optional shipping quantity discounts. Assign products with the tm_vendor_id attribute.

Calculate Rates at Checkout
The extension groups cart items by vendor, rates each group from that vendor origin, and presents Unified Multi-Vendor Ground Shipping — or optional per-vendor method selection when that setting is enabled.

Fulfill Outside the Module
Checkout records the shipping choice and cost breakdown. Label printing, carrier tracking portals, inventory or ERP sync, and analytics dashboards are not part of this module; use Magento fulfillment and any carrier tools you already run.

Can I run it without any carrier API modules?

Yes for Flat Rate and F.O.B Quote vendors. For any vendor set to USPS, UPS, or FedEx, install and enable the matching Multivendor carrier module first; the base helpers type-hint those packages.
