Extension context

This is a Toweringmedia Magento 2 extension guide for the current admin extension catalog.

Product page

Overview

This extension outputs JSON-LD structured data across the Magento 2 storefront so search engines can read your organization, website, product, and merchant listing information correctly. It covers the merchant listing and product identifier fields that Google Merchant Center and rich results depend on, and includes a preview screen for checking the generated schema before relying on it.

What this extension does

  • JSON-LD structured data output for organization, website, product, and merchant listing schema.
  • Social profile and organization identity fields.
  • Product identifier handling (GTIN, MPN, brand and similar).
  • Selectable schema types.
  • Schema preview screen in the admin.

Requirements

  • Magento 2.4.x (Open Source or Adobe Commerce).
  • PHP: ^8.1 || ^8.2 || ^8.3 (as declared by the published package).
  • A current Toweringmedia license and Composer credentials for https://composer.toweringmedia.com/.
  • Composer resolves toweringmedia/module-base automatically.

General installation notes that apply to every Toweringmedia extension are in the installation guide.

Configuration

  • Stores > Configuration > Towering Media > SEO Structured Data (config section seo_structured_data).
  • Groups: general, schema_types, website, social, organization, product, merchant, and identifiers.
  • Admin screens: Towering Media > Marketing & Merchandising > Structured Data > Configuration and Schema Preview.

Basic usage and what to expect

  1. Fill in the organization, website, and social groups first — these describe the business and are reused across schema types.
  2. Map your product identifier attributes in the identifiers group so GTIN, MPN, and brand emit correctly.
  3. Use Schema Preview, then validate a live product URL with Google's Rich Results Test before considering it done.

Notes and limitations

  • Incorrect identifier mapping produces structured data that validates but describes the wrong values. Check a real product against the Rich Results Test rather than trusting the preview alone.

Validation checklist

  • bin/magento module:status shows the module(s) as enabled.
  • Extension configuration saves without errors in Admin.
  • The admin screens listed above are reachable and load without error.
  • Expected storefront/admin behavior is present after a cache flush.
  • No critical PHP/JS errors appear in var/log/ during the primary test flow.

Troubleshooting

  • Composer cannot find the package: confirm the https://composer.toweringmedia.com/ repository and your credentials are present in auth.json, and that your license covers this package.
  • Feature not visible: verify module status, flush cache, and redeploy static content.
  • Admin setting not applying: clear cache and confirm the config scope (default / website / store view).
  • Unexpected behavior: retest with only the required related modules enabled.
