This is a Toweringmedia Magento 2 extension guide for the current admin extension catalog.

• Toweringmedia Sales Order Customer Grid (SKU module-sales-order-customer-grid)

This extension adds a Company column to the customer selection grid on the admin Create New Order screen. On B2B stores where many contacts share similar names, it lets an admin user identify and search the correct account by company rather than guessing from the customer name and email alone.

• Adds a Company column to the customer grid in Sales > Orders > Create New Order.
• Makes the company value searchable and filterable when selecting a customer.
• Column can be switched off from configuration without uninstalling.

• Magento 2.4.x (Open Source or Adobe Commerce).
• PHP: ^8.1 || ^8.2 (as declared by the published package).
• A current Toweringmedia license and Composer credentials for https://composer.toweringmedia.com/.
• Composer resolves toweringmedia/module-base automatically.

Install and validate in a staging environment before production rollout.

• Stores > Configuration > Towering Media > Additional Customer Order Grid Fields (config section toweringmedia_salesordercustomergrid).
• Group general contains the enable switch and the show-company-column setting.
• Shortcut: Towering Media > Additional Customer Order Grid Fields opens the same configuration section.

1. Enable the module and the company column, then flush cache.
2. Go to Sales > Orders > Create New Order and confirm the Company column appears in the customer selection grid and filters correctly.

• This is a focused admin usability change. It does not alter the storefront or the order data model.

• bin/magento module:status shows the module(s) as enabled.
• Extension configuration saves without errors in Admin.
• The admin screens listed above are reachable and load without error.
• Expected storefront/admin behavior is present after a cache flush.
• No critical PHP/JS errors appear in var/log/ during the primary test flow.

• Composer cannot find the package: confirm the https://composer.toweringmedia.com/ repository and your credentials are present in auth.json, and that your license covers this package.
• Feature not visible: verify module status, flush cache, and redeploy static content.
• Admin setting not applying: clear cache and confirm the config scope (default / website / store view).
• Unexpected behavior: retest with only the required related modules enabled.
