===== Overview =====

Search Intelligence Core is the hub of the Towering Media SEO suite. On its own it provides the dashboard, the SEO agent console, the advisory and opportunity queues, and the change-set approval workflow. It does not pull data or apply changes by itself — the connectors (GSC, GA4, DataForSEO, Google Ads) supply data, and the appliers (Magento SEO, Opportunity Optimizer) propose and apply changes. Everything is approval-gated.

  * Magento 2.4.x (Open Source or Adobe Commerce).
  * PHP: ^8.1 || ^8.2 || ^8.3 || ^8.4 (as declared by the published package).

  * Requires ''toweringmedia/module-ai-core'' — Composer installs it automatically.
  * AI Core must be configured with a working AI provider before the agent console and proposals will function.
  * Data connectors and appliers are licensed separately.

  * Stores > Configuration > Towering Media > **Search Intelligence Core Settings** (config section ''search_intelligence_core'').
  * Groups: ''general'', ''llm_budget'', ''api_spend'', ''achievability'', ''ai_console'', ''research_schedule'', ''opportunity_scan'', and ''autonomous_optimization''.
  * Admin screens: Towering Media > Marketing & Merchandising > **Intelligence SEO Suite** > Dashboard, SEO Agent, Advisory Queue, Opportunity Review, Change Sets, Optimization Runs, Operations Timeline, Intelligence Digest, Connectors, Technical SEO, Enhancements, Core Settings.

===== Basic usage and what to expect =====

  - Configure AI Core, then set the LLM budget and API spend caps in Core Settings before running anything. These caps are what stop an unattended run from spending more than you intend.
  - Install at least one connector so Core has real data to work from.
  - Review proposals in Advisory Queue and Opportunity Review; nothing is applied to the store until a change set is approved.

===== Notes and limitations =====

  * Core is the required base for every other Search Intelligence module. Installing a connector without Core will not give you a working SEO workflow.

===== Validation checklist =====

  * ''bin/magento module:status'' shows the module(s) as enabled.
  * Extension configuration saves without errors in Admin.
  * The admin screens listed above are reachable and load without error.
  * Expected storefront/admin behavior is present after a cache flush.
  * No critical PHP/JS errors appear in ''var/log/'' during the primary test flow.

===== Troubleshooting =====

  * **Composer cannot find the package**: confirm the ''https://composer.toweringmedia.com/'' repository and your credentials are present in ''auth.json'', and that your license covers this package.
  * **Feature not visible**: verify module status, flush cache, and redeploy static content.
  * **Admin setting not applying**: clear cache and confirm the config scope (default / website / store view).
  * **Unexpected behavior**: retest with only the required related modules enabled.
