Steps to Manage Product Inventory

  1. Log in to the Magento Admin Panel:

    • Open your web browser and go to the URL of your Magento admin panel.
    • Enter your admin username and password, then click on "Sign in."
  2. Navigate to the Products Section:

    • In the left sidebar, go to Catalog > Products.
  3. Edit or Add a Product:

    • To edit an existing product, click on the product from the list.
    • To add a new product, click on the Add Product button at the top right corner and select the type of product you want to add.
  4. Inventory Settings:

    • Scroll down to the Quantity field in the Product Details section and enter the quantity of the product in stock.
  5. Advanced Inventory Settings:

    • Scroll down to the Advanced Inventory section and click on it to expand.

    • Here, you can configure several inventory options:

      • Manage Stock: Set to “Yes” to manage stock for this product.
      • Quantity: Enter the quantity of the product in stock.
      • Stock Status: Choose whether the product is in stock or out of stock.
      • Minimum Quantity Allowed in Shopping Cart: Set the minimum quantity that can be purchased.
