    • Enter the base price of the product in this field.
  5. Configure Advanced Pricing:

    • Scroll down to the Advanced Pricing section and click on it to expand.

    • Here, you can configure several pricing options:

      • Special Price: Set a discounted price for the product. You can also set the start and end date for the special price.
      • Cost: Enter the cost of the product (for internal use, not displayed to customers).
      • Tier Price: Offer quantity-based discounts. Click on Add Tier to specify the quantity and discounted price for each tier.
      • Group Price: Set different prices for specific customer groups. Click on Add Group Price to select the customer group and enter the price.
      • MSRP (Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price): Enter the suggested retail price and configure whether to display it on the product page.
  6. Set the Tax Class:

    • In the Product Details section, there’s a Tax Class dropdown.
    • Select the appropriate tax class for the product (e.g., Taxable Goods, None).
  7. Save the Product:

    • Once you have configured all the necessary pricing details, click the Save button at the top right corner.

Additional Pricing Configuration

  • Catalog Price Rules: You can set up catalog price rules to apply discounts across multiple products or categories.

    • Navigate to Marketing > Promotions > Catalog Price Rules.
    • Click on Add New Rule and configure the rule conditions and actions.
  • Cart Price Rules: These rules apply discounts based on cart conditions.

    • Navigate to Marketing > Promotions > Cart Price Rules.
    • Click on Add New Rule and configure the rule conditions and actions.

Example of Advanced Pricing Configuration

For instance, if you want to set a special price for a product, configure tier pricing for bulk purchases, and set a group price for wholesale customers, you would:

  1. Special Price: Set a discounted price of $80 from January 1st to January 31st.
  2. Tier Price:
    • For 10-19 units, set the price at $75 each.
    • For 20+ units, set the price at $70 each.
  3. Group Price:
    • For the "Wholesale" customer group, set the price at $65.

By setting up these pricing configurations, you can offer various pricing options to customers based on different conditions and customer groups, enhancing your store's flexibility and promotional capabilities.
